Crepes
makes ~12 crepes
Ingredients
1½ cups flour
1 tbsp. sugar
½ tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
2 cups milk
2 tbsp. margarine
½ tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
- Preheat pan on medium heat.
- Mix dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, salt) in a bowl.
- Add in the rest of the ingredients. Mix thoroughly.
- Pour batter onto preheated pan. ~1/4 cup per crepe.
- Cook on each side for about a minute.
- Fill with whatever you like. ♥
Notes:
♦ Fillings for crepes can be sweet or savory.
Savory fillings:
Cream cheese, cheddar, brie, goat cheese, ricotta, mascarpone
Basil, spinach, chives, sautéed mushrooms, tomato, caramelized onionss
Chicken, turkey, ham, bacon
Sweet fillings:
Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, bananas, kiwi, pineapple
Nutella, peanut butter, almond butter
Whipped cream or sweetened mascarpone cream
Yogurt or ice cream
Maple syrup, caramel sauce, honey, or hot fudge
