Harvest Grilled Cheese

Ingredients

Bread slices [any kind] (2)
Sharp cheddar cheese slices (1-3)
Ham or turkey slices (2)
Peach preserves
Mayonnaise*
Butter or margarine*
Oregano*
Basil*

* optional but recommended
  1. Heat pan over medium heat.
  2. Butter outside of each bread slice; you don't need to use much, but spread it evenly.
  3. On the insides of your slices, spread mayonnaise and preserves.
  4. Place meat and cheese on sandwich.
  5. Lightly sprinkle oregano and basil onto sandwich fillings.
  6. Close the sandwich, buttered sides facing out.
  7. Place sandwich in pan, cook for 1-2 minutes on each side, covering with a lid between flips.
  8. Keep flipping until cheese is well-melted. ♥
Notes:
♦ I might recommend lowering the heat a bit if the cheese is taking a while to melt, to avoid burning the bread.
