Harvest Grilled Cheese

Ingredients
Bread slices [
any kind] (2)
Sharp cheddar cheese slices (1-3)
Ham or turkey slices (2)
Peach preserves
Mayonnaise*
Butter or margarine*
Oregano*
Basil*
* optional but recommended
- Heat pan over medium heat.
- Butter outside of each bread slice; you don't need to use much, but spread it evenly.
- On the insides of your slices, spread mayonnaise and preserves.
- Place meat and cheese on sandwich.
- Lightly sprinkle oregano and basil onto sandwich fillings.
- Close the sandwich, buttered sides facing out.
- Place sandwich in pan, cook for 1-2 minutes on each side, covering with a lid between flips.
- Keep flipping until cheese is well-melted. ♥
Notes:
♦ I might recommend lowering the heat a bit if the cheese is taking a while to melt, to avoid burning the bread.
